* WIND CHILL VALUES...WILL RAPIDLY FALL INTO THE TEENS AND SINGLE DIGITS LATE THIS EVENING ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN PIEDMONT...BOTTOMING OUT AT -5 TO -10 DEGREES AROUND SUNRISE TUESDAY MORNING.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...


A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILL READINGS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING...MAKE SURE TO WEAR SEVERAL LAYERS OF CLOTHING IN ADDITION TO A HAT AND GLOVES.
