...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND OCCASIONAL LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL PERSIST THROUGH LATE MORNING...


* LOCATIONS...FOR PORTIONS OF THE PIEDMONT...NORTHERN SANDHILLS...AND NORTHERN COASTAL PLAIN.


* HAZARD TYPES...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND OCCASIONAL LIGHT FREEZING RAIN.


* ACCUMULATIONS...A TRACE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF ADDITIONAL ICE ACCUMULATION...PRIMARILY ON ELEVATED SURFACES...BRIDGES...AND OVERPASSES NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 64 CORRIDOR.


* TIMING...PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL PERSIST THROUGH MID TO LATE MORNING. OCCASIONAL FREEZING RAIN WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH 9 AM NORTH AND NORTHEAST OF THE TRIANGLE.


* TEMPERATURES...30 TO 32 DEGREES EARLY THIS MORNING...GRADUALLY RISING ABOVE FREEZING BETWEEN 8 AM AND 11 AM.


* IMPACTS...LOCALLY HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES ALONG AND NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 64 CORRIDOR.
