The Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties’ Shop | Save | Support fundraiser drives traffic to local businesses, donating 100% of money raised toward local community agencies.
Participating businesses offer discounts to customers who have purchased a Shop | Save | Support card from the League. More than 60 businesses across Durham, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Orange County have signed up to participate.
The proceeds from card sales go toward supporting local community agencies addressing issues of food access and education. The League has partnered with Root Causes as part of our focus on Health Living.
The fundraiser is a two week shopping period from April 21st through May 7th.
The Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively education and charitable.
