ATLANTA (AP) — A leading conservative Christian group is putting on a show of Republican unity in Georgia. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign used a Faith & Freedom Coalition dinner to cement their new détente after years of tensions. And Trump’s running mate JD Vance tried to smooth over differences on abortion policy across the evangelical community ahead of Election Day. Faith & Freedom Coalition co-founder Ralph Reed brought Vance and Kemp to the same stage with a shared focus.
