RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The North Carolina State Board of Elections voted to certify the results of the 2024 election aside from a few outstanding races still under recount. That certification includes authenticating President-Elect Donald Trump’s 16 electoral votes from the battleground state he’s won three times now. Key statewide races such as the governor’s race were also certified. A tight state Supreme Court race and a few key state legislative races weren’t certified because they are either under recount or have election protests filed.
