DURHAM, N.C. (WPTF) — Durham authorities have released the names of two people who were shot and killed on North Roxboro Street in Durham just before Midnight Saturday (March 14).
In a release, police says the two victims as Tevin Burney, 23, of Durham and Jarrett Godfrey, 26, of Durham.
Officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 3500 block of North Roxboro Street. When officers arrived, they located two adult male victims and an adult female victim inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. The two adult male victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. The adult female victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
