Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional but recommended)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Prep the fishPat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and place them on a plate.
2. SeasonSprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Heat the panIn a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
4. Cook the tilapiaAdd the fillets and cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove and set aside.
5. Make the sauceIn the same pan, add butter and garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, then stir in lemon juice and zest.
6. Finish and serveReturn the fish to the pan, spoon the sauce over the fillets, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
