CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WPTF) — One person is dead in a Monday morning (May 11) house fire in Chapel Hill.
The Chapel Hill Fire Rescue is investigating the fire that began just before 7 a.m. at the corner of Redbud Lane and Honeysuckle Road.
Firefighters found one person deceased inside the home. There are no other reports of injuries.
A medical examiner will work to determine the victim’s identity and cause of death. Chapel Hill Fire Rescue is investigating the cause of the fire.
