DURHAM, N.C. (WPTF) – A Durham man has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a shooting on Burgundy Road Tuesday (July 14).
According to the Durham County Sheriff’s Office, just before 11:30 A.M., a verbal altercation between two family members turned violent at a home on the 6000 block of Burgundy Road. One person was shot during the dispute.
The 27-year-old male victim fled the scene and was located by deputies at a nearby gas station. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Rodney Feaster, 67, who resides at the home, has been charged in the incident.
