RALEIGH, N.C. (WPTF) – Police have released the name of a shooting victim from a Sunday morning (March 22) incident on New Bern Avenue.
33 year old Jorge Dorantes-Carranz was one of two people who was shot at the Patio Nightclub. The other victim remains in the hospital with serious injuries.
On Sunday, at 1:27 am, Raleigh Police officers responded to a call in reference to a shooting in the 3900 block of New Bern Avenue at the Patio Nightclub.
Responding officers found two adult males with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
