CARY, N.C. (WPTF) – One person drowned in a Cary lake Saturday afternoon (April 25).
Police responded around 2 p.m. to Macgregor Downs Lake off Saint Andrews Lane.
Upon arrival, officers were able to locate one adult male in the lake. That individual was recovered from the water and was declared dead at the scene. This investigation is currently ongoing and the name of the victim has not been released.
