RALEIGH, N.C. (WPTF) – Stormwater crews are on the scene of a sinkhole Monday (June 1) which is impacting traffic on Yonkers Road.
The road is closed as repairs are underway near the intersection of Yonkers and Raleigh Boulevard. Raleigh police say the sinkhole is about two fee wide.
The City of Raleigh’s Stormwater team has closed the entire road to investigate the circumstances around the sinkhole. Raleigh Stormwater says they beleive the sinkhole could get bigger.
