WILMINGTON, N.C. (NCN News) – An investigation continues into an early morning fatal shooting in Wilmington Saturday (June 6)
According to Wilmington police, around 1:36am, officers responded to 141 N. Front street in reference to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim died at the scene.
Officers and detectives immediately began an investigation and worked to identify and locate the suspect. As of last report, no suspect has been found.
