DURHAM, N.C. (WPTF) – Durham police are providing more details as they search for a shooting suspect.
On Tuesday, Feb. 17, a man was shot at the intersection of Globe Rd. and Page Rd. Witnesses reported that two cars stopped in the left-hand turn lane, and the driver of one vehicle fired at a grey BMW.
The suspect, described as a man in his 30s wearing all-black clothing, fled on Page Rd. toward I-40. Police now say the suspect vehicle has been identified as a matte black, 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro without hubcaps. The vehicle, which had no license plate at the time of the shooting, was last seen in the area of Northern Durham Parkway shortly before the incident. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
