SILER CITY, N.C. (WPTF) – Six people are now facing charges in a Chatham County drug investigation.
According to a Sheriff’s Department press release, the investigation at a residence followed the execution of a search warrant on February 20,2026. Investigators with the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed the search warrant at 306 W. 5th St., Siler City.
Lorenzo Nettles, 35, of 306 W. 5th St., Siler City, was charged with one count of felony possession of methamphetamine; one count of felony sell or deliver Schedule II controlled substance; one count of felony manufacture, sell, deliver, or possess controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a childcare center; one count of felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances; and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Damani Allison, 26, of 1614 Moons Chapel Rd., Siler City, was charged with one count of felony possession of methamphetamine; one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; and one count of misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
Kami Barrera, 26, of 419 W. 4th St., Siler City, was charged with one count of felony possession of methamphetamine; one count of felony manufacture, sell, deliver, or possess controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a childcare center; one count of misdemeanor child abuse; and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Faith Lynch, 23, of 1501 Chapel Hill Rd., Apt. D, Durham, was charged with one count of felony possession of methamphetamine; one count of felony manufacture, sell, deliver, or possess controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a childcare center; and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Eric Walters, 32, of 514 Coapman St., Greensboro, was charged with one count of felony conspiracy.
Tahkwan Tunney, 29, of 315 Burlingate Dr., Greensboro, was charged with one count of felony manufacture, sell, deliver, or possess controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school; one count of felony conspiracy; one count of felony maintaining a dwelling, vehicle, or place for controlled substances; one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana between one-half ounce and one and one-half ounces; and one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Allison received a $5,000.00 secured bond and Barrera received a $25,000.00 secured bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Chatham County Criminal Justice Center in Pittsboro on March 11.
Nettles, Lynch, Walters, and Tunney have not been arrested at this time.
