DURHAM, N.C. (WPTF) — The Durham Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at the intersection of Cornwallis Road and South Roxboro Street Thursday afternoon (June 11)
At approximately 4:26 p.m., Durham Police officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound. At the scene, officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators are at the scene, determining the circumstances surrounding this incident. Additional information will be released at the appropriate time.
